I'm being a punk because I make a suggestion to Eaves that would benefit his program and energize the fan base?
How dare I! LOL
BTW: I'll try to interview him this week during Midnight Madness. Let's pray that he doesn't beat me up. (fingers crossed)

thrilla you always got something to say if we dont do things the way you want it. please unless you writing $50,000 checks shut the hell up. want you go meet with eaves and tell him. quit being a punk and hiding behind the internet n call eaves be a man. i seriously doubt you will do dat. you have so much to say want you get a job over here as the AD, S.I.D. or chancellor. This is the problem with a lot at A&T now. We put too much emphasis on the dollar and we miss the whole point.... These powerhouse programs that we so readily boast as being superior have had some of their biggest ideas from blogs, posts, fans and other supporters. What good is money with no strategy?

If he has a late B.G. game the players would not have a chance 2 see the football game... If the football game was away it would b different, but I think almost every yr the games happen 2 be home. So I'm thinkin this isn't for the fans benefit but for his players because most of them do support other aggie athletics... Jus a little something to think about That's the whole point of this thread. The football game is at 3pm in Tallahassee. And if it's not for the fans then don't call it a Blue & Gold Game or put it on the schedule. Even if the the football game was at home, why not schedule the Blue & Game after the football game to draw the max. crowd possible.

the only monetary issue that would increase with a move of the game would be for security, I would assume. later in the day, you'd need more security to deal with the anticipated larger crowd.

You look small with this post. I guess Thrilla is making too much sense. And for the record, if Thrilla (or anyone) was able to sit down with Eaves and get the time changed, then Eaves is weaker than I ever imagined. That's like letting a man off the street come in your house and instruct your wife how to decorate the living room. I disagree with almost all of his philosphies but one thing about Eaves is that he is confident in his system to a fault. If he believes in it, he sticks with it. Even that B.S. run and gun offense. So, after re-reading your post, I have a better idea of who should shut the h*ll up. But that's just my opinion. lol you come on bd to criticize eaves... but you are afraid to meet him face to face... & since when does meeting a coach to get him to change something makes him weak... i think meeting someone to discuss things you agree or disagree with shows courage by both parties...

FYI: I have already set down and interviewed Eaves on several occasions. Who do you think recorded all those postgame videos we had last year? He has always been a class act and treated me with great respect.
I don't have a problem with him. And I don't have a problem with speaking to anyone face to face.
This entire thread was just a suggestion on how he can make his intra-squad scrimmage more fan-friendly.

Back in the old days when Corbett was still coaching and even after then with Caple and Thomas, we played the intrasquad game the night after the last home game beginning at 7.
Now I know that this year with homecoming being the last home game that wouldn't be real smart so why not play it on the following week when we are out of town at FAMU or better yet the bye week before SC State when you have everyone's attention.
Why not have have a one day Blue/Gold big season ticket push and a special one time discount on a purchase of season tickets like 10 percent off the total price if you buy two or more season tickets while still charging $5 bucks a head to get in.
I mean think about it for a moment. Do I make more by selling just one ticket at say $100 bucks or by volume by four tickets at $360?
