I heard that R&R Prod will do a repeat of '3rd thurs' ( normally at the Comedy zone but now at George k's), for a Homecoming edition. They are going to double up I heard.

Fri. Alumni tennis benefit @ 11am ( still pending).

>contacting some old professors
>laying a wreath for the Willie Grimes memorial & at the Paul Roberson Little Theater
>eat in the cafe (pending)
>look around Crosby hall
>visit the bookstore
>grease a few palms of struggling Durhamite students
>hit the house of jazz that night ( aahem...maybe)

Note: I may fit in Libby Hill somewhere, but that, along with the lodging fee, will be the only $ I spend, outside of the vendors near Aggie Stadium, ( that's just me)....maybe if I need gas, I'll buy some, but thats about it for greater G'boro. We dont have many Black gas stations in Durham anymore. But I'll fill -up in the Bull City & roll out.

If I can see Dean White, Potsy Webb, Gator, or Dr Killamanjaro my Homecoming will be complete! period!
All is subject to change if I see any 'Grooves', 'Swings' or former 'Ballers'!!!! lol

That next weekend Nov 7th, I will be back in the 'Boro for the Blue & Gold game @ 10am & then I'll view the Football Aggies vs FAMU via Famu-cast, or I'll tune in the radio broadcast. I love the Fall...

Hey, where and when is the JOMC event being held? I might like to attend that one myself. It is usually held Friday Afternoon around 4pm on the second floor of Crosby. I'm surprised you never showed up before. |

if i had known at the beginning of the season that bcu would suck in football this year, i would have planned on being at homecoming. unfortunately, when it comes to the homecoming game, i'm a sore loser! it spoils my homecoming mood when we lose the homecoming game. so i agreed to go with mrs. oleschool to her alma mater's homecoming this year which falls on the same date as ours. actually, she didn't have to twist my arm to go because she's a vsu alum and every time i go to a vsu game, i get to see the finest cheerleaders in america! there's a reason they call them the woo woo's! so have fun aggies! i'll be at homecoming next year and every year thereafter as long as i feel we've got a good chance to win the game. and by the way, it sucks that we can no longer drive through campus during homecoming weekend. yeah, i know. homecoming has probably grown too big to allow traffic to pass through campus, but that's what use to make homecoming so special! coasting through campus at about 5 mph just checking out all the people and especially the ladies...  |
