Anyone listen to the Chancellor's remarks about athletics?? Pehaps BDV can get an interview with the Chancellor sometime in the future, to get a feel for his perspective on A&T athletics.

Q&A: A&T Chancellor Harold Martin Harold Martin is back on familiar ground. The 12th chancellor of N.C. A&T received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from A&T, and he also is a former dean of engineering and vice chancellor for academic affairs at A&T. The school officially conducted a nationwide search to find a successor for Stanley Battle, who resigned after less than two years at the post. But most Aggies seemed to know who they wanted from the beginning. The question wasn’t whether Martin was their man. It was whether he would trade his job as senior vice president for the University of North Carolina system to come back to A&T. www.news-record.com/content/2009/08/07/article/qa_at_chancellor_harold_martin

You would have to go online to read the whole interview. This article appeared on the Sunday's op-ed page. The article does not contain his remarks on athletics. In the video he had some interesting comments on athletics. I suspect that some of you computer wizards can find the video and post it.

Before Harold left A&T he was as big an aggie football fan as any of us here on BDV. I use to sit with him at the aggie/eagle game and he was more emotional than me. Believe me, he is very interested in how A&T football team performs.

Thanks for sharing the video with folks on this board. I didn't have the computer expertise to post the video.
