Aggies,
Please see the flyer and registration form for the upcoming 2nd Annual Blue and Gold Golf tournament sponsored by the DC Aggie Club.
Last years tournament raised over $4000.00 to support the athletics department at North Carolina A&T State University. This year we want to exceed last years results in player participation and monies raised.
So, how can Aggies help? I am glad you asked.
There are several ways Aggies can help to support the tournament and the Athletic department at A&T.
1. Sign up your foursome, twosome or even individually to play. NOW is the time to send in your registration forms. We must tell the course how many players we expect and we would like to be able to tell them we need to reserve the entire course.
2. Become a sponsor. We have several sponsorship levels,
(1) The first category is the Corporate Sponsorship levels of Platinum, Gold, Silver, Cookout and the additional categories to help with the awards, golf bags and door prizes. If you are interested in becoming a sponsor at this level, please contact one of the Aggie Club members noted on the flyer.
(2) The second category is the Small Business Sponsorship level. For $200, your firm will receive a hole sign posted on a hole. In addition, your business card will be printed in a the tournament program to be distributed to the players during the awards luncheon.
(3) The last category is the Individual Sponsorship where Aggies can combine a $100 donation with another person's $100 and share a hole sign. We will also accept donations of any amount to be included in our Aggie Friends level.
3. Print the attached flyer and post it in your own barbershop, beauty salon and/or golf course.
4. Pass the word about the tournament to other Aggies not on this distribution list or other friends that enjoy golf.
5. There is a Facebook page titled "2nd Annual Blue and Gold Golf Tournament" with the tournaments information. Please let other Facebook members know about the page.
Remember, please turn in your registration forms as soon as possible and contact us in regards to how you will support our tournament and more importantly A&T Athletics.
