Morgan State's Bozeman signs 5-year deal Bears coach meets university's deadline, agrees to new contract By Ken Murray | ken.murray@baltsun.com 7:32 PM EDT, April 23, 2009
Todd Bozeman, who brought Morgan State back to prominence in mid-major basketball, signed a five-year contract Thursday to remain coach of the Bears.
After five weeks of stalemated negotiations, Bozeman accepted the university's terms and met the school's Thursday deadline to sign the new deal.
"I'm grateful for the opportunity to be a college basketball coach," Bozeman said. "I welcome the opportunity to continue to coach my guys."
Dr. Earl Richardson, university president, issued a statement to The Baltimore Sun, saying: "We're pleased. We think we have a contract that works for the university and for Coach Bozeman."
The contract gives Bozeman the second-highest base salary in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference, at $182,000. The top salary belongs to Greg Jackson at Delaware State, with $225,000 per season

Mark my words. He will be gone as soon as a decent mid major D-1 job opens up. No one offered this year because its too soon with the history and all but just wait until they do by the end of next season.
He's one and then done.

He got blackballed and didn't deserve it. He's a great coach. His only mistake is that he knocked off Duke in the 2nd round............... when Duke was Duke!
