It sucks that Morgan got that chick. What are they gonna do with her?
That reminds me of Corbett lamenting that he had such difficulty getting bigs. He said that all he needed was a big boy. There was some joker that rode the bench four years at Carolina or State that Corbett said would’ve started all four years at Ayantee and gotten us past the first round, but he wanted to ride that pine for an ACC school. Granted, that girl’s gonna play every year she’s eligible at Morgan, but she ain’t going to the big dance. I think she could do a lot more damage nationally at Ayantee.

at first glance, when i looked at the morgan state recruit's ranking (81), it startled me because usually top 150 ranked players go to the big schools. but then i noticed that almost all of the juco players had rankings under 150. that tells me it is a "juco" ranking, not a national high school ranking. but if she's a legitimate 6'3", i'd still like to see her in an aggie uniform. you can see the entire report at www.michaeltwhite.com/agr/news.php?aid=619

Why did Murdaugh decide to leave Bowling Green? She was averaging 22 minutes per game as a freshman on a first place MAC team.

Murdaugh told her coach she wanted to go to an HBCU. Her coach was dumbfounded because he has never had a starter ask to leave the program. I guess she didn't fit the environment at BGU so she came to A&T. I don't know if Bland has any influence being from Ohio or not.

Aggie Law,
Since I am originally from Roxboro I have known Avie Lester since I was 5. Yes his father and mother and several other family members are Aggies. My mother and his mom were school teachers in Roxboro.
I think his junior year at state he played pretty well and got alot of minutes. His career at State ended on a very bad note with some issues regarding eligibility. He also really became a scapegoat for all the Washborn issues that NC State had at the time. I have not seen the guy in 20 years but I think he would have a made a different decesion if he were making it today.
Bringing up his name reminds me of the big guy we had from the Islands for a minute. Juan Lanasa ?

I think we've got to give a lot of credit to Terrell Robinson and the other assistant coaches on the Lady Aggies staff for helping to assemble this class.

Friscotx, the problem is that we always have kids that want to come to T "after" their playing days are over. I see them every homecoming!
