yeah, i'm nervous about this one too! and you're right, we need this game in the worst way! if we win, we'll still need help from morgan to beat coppin. i tend to think that morgan will pull it out but you never know about these rivalry games.
makes for a stressful nite on the internet for me. i'll be keeping a close eye on both games...

www.nsuspartans.com/news/2009/3/5/MBB_0305094301.aspxMen's Basketball Hosts N.C. A&T with MEAC Seeding on the LineNORFOLK, Va. - NSU (10-17, 8-7 MEAC) concludes its regular-season schedule this Thursday when it hosts North Carolina A&T (16-14, 9-6) with MEAC Tournament seeding on the line. Both teams are battling for a top-five finish in the standings that ensures a first-round tournament bye. NSU needs to win Thursday and hope for Coppin State to lose at Morgan State to give the Spartans the third seed in next week's tournament. But NSU can still finish anywhere from third to sixth depending on the outcomes of several games on Thursday. The Spartans are riding a two-game winning streak after an 85-71 win over Howard on Monday, while the Aggies had their season-long eight-game win streak snapped by Hampton, 59-58, the same night. The game can be heard live on WNSB Hot 91.1 FM in Hampton Roads. Ross Gordon and Chris Park will have the call. Live stats for the game will also be available through the NSU athletic web site here. This will be the 35th meeting all-time between NSU and N.C. A&T, with the series tied at 17 wins apiece. N.C. A&T evened the series with a 93-66 win on Dec. 6, NSU’s worst loss in the series since moving to Division I. The teams split their meetings last season, with each team winning on its home floor.
