if we can win at least one more regular season game, we'll guarantee ourselves winning overall record! our first overall record above .500 since 1997!

I was kinda hoping Eaves would go off on Ahhbigboy but he didn't fall for the bait. LOL
On a serious note, it is good to see that he has his swagger back right now. You can tell that Eaves is extremely confident in his system of basketball.

Eaves system surley made for alot of debate during the season. But he has shown that his system works it just took a little time for some of the players to adjust to their new roles. I guess that's why Jerry Eaves in the Coach and we are all Monday morning quarterbacks.
And yes Coach Eaves deserves MEAC Coach of the Year

Anyone who have watched the men's program the last three years would know that the offense this year is different than the offense of the past two years. If you would have talked to Coach Eaves this past summer he would have told you that his offense will change. Also, Oleschoolaggie and Aggie77 told us that the offense was fine, the players just weren't making the open shots or make the shots inside the 'paint'.
The team had a bad losing spell in the conference and confidence in them started to waver. Something happened to the players' psyche after halftime in the Hampton game in Virginia. The win in Hampton triggered something and I want to them to hold on to it for a long, long time.

One thing I learned from the postgame interview is that Eaves himself is aware that his players sometimes jack up way too many 3s. He said that during the last two games he has made a point at halftime to tell his players to stop settling for so many jumpers and drive to the basket more.
Granted, I don't know Eaves very well, but he strikes me as a coach who is self confident but at the same time always able to evaluate himself and his team with honesty. That seems like a good quality to have.

Uhh ... except for when he is talking about the athletic ability of his role players. Then Eaves can kind of get carried away. LOL
Dr. Julian did has a nice put back slam against Howard though.
