His best overall performance thus far. Eaves even was audacious enough to play him along side Coleman the last 3 minutes or so of the game. I guess Eaves needed all the help he could get on the boards and defense. Can't figure Winston. I know that they are young, but they have good size and quickness. Big people who seem to have pretty good moves down low. Strange

They play really porous defense against the break, ball handling in the open floor is suspect, and they really lack any offensive consistency from the perimeter.

Kam actually had a few nice hustle plays last night against SCSU.
He still has the body language of someone who is on suicide watch, and he should never attempt a jump shot of more then 6 feet from the basket, but I do like his effort and energy.

Yeah, that energy has picked up. It has allowed Coleman to get breathers and limit his getting into early foul trouble. He just needs to understand his role as being a big body filling the paint. I don't like that high post game with the bigs. The ball is passed to them and everybody runs away from them, hence leaving them to get double teamed (turnover) or shoot a couple of air balls (Sheperd).

Eaves has been running it a long time now so it's clear that he believes in it. It forces our bigs to make smart decisions with the ball...something they don't always do. We did get some nice baseline angles to the basket against DSU though!

Has anyone seen Ahhbigboy? Ya know he is like a ole' buzzard! He only comes around to feast when the team looks to be dead and almost gone! He is hard to find when things are going well. LOL

He said he was eating crow earlier this morning, he was on here begging for someone to pass the salt.
Give him a break.

kam has been playing with more aggression & more heart... you can see the talent he has... now he has to shoot the ball with confidence... like he expects the shot to go in... not hope it goes in...
when all of our kids play with the heart like that blair kid at pitt... watchout...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
the kids just need to be reminded... to play strong & physical... box out & use that backboard... it is your friend...
