Prep Insider and Palmetto Upstate. Not much difference between 160 and 170 to even matter as long has he has that kind of speed. Thanks

If that kid has that kind of speed and at that size, he should be used like DeSean Jackson was at Cal or Percy Harvin at UF.

The kid Raper will be a good addition to the Team.. it gives us a good 1-2 punch with Nigel Tomlin being the likely starter at Tailback next year i dunno, blankman. i really like raper a lot, but i like recruit dontavious payne even more! payne is a beast! he's not very tall but he runs with an awful lot of power and he has plenty of outside speed. i think payne will be able to contribute immediately and could be our feature running back in the future...

oleschool you make some good points.. Payne does sound like the prototype back A&T needs. I just feel these recruits will better our program

Another recent new signee this week is cornerback Reggie Farmer 5-11 165 Brentwood Nashville, TN. Just like Raper, this is another kid who got his ACT qualifying score of 19 this week on his second go around from back in January so the big boys didn't wait on him either. Coach Lee is just patiently waiting on late qualifiers (and quite a few are out there especially at the skill positions) and we're picking them off one at a time. Give him credit, Lee is on top of having his staff tracking down some serious talent and getting to them and sticking with them before the big schools figure it out and swoop in and that is no easy task. Bravo. Now if Chennis Berry can get the O-line staightened out this spring with the new kids then..... **************** This what a shut down corner should look like.
Quick hits: Farmer made 54 tackles with a team-high five interceptions for Region 6-5A's top defense in points allowed. He was all-conference, All-Region, and 2nd team All-State. www.reggiefarmerfootball.com

That was a really good highlight film put together for that kid. He looked faster than a 4.5 forty on the film, especially the clips of him running the ball. Looked like a sure tackler in the open field and not afraid of contact.

Well tell me, "Supreme Minister of Information" Is the coach at Milford (Reggie White) the same one that played at A&T under Bill Hayes?

Aggie One these are the kind of guys I am looking for. 6-4 to 6-6 in the pocket QBs should be our minimum standard.
This kid is big. He is a little slow and need to work on throwing while moving lateral but he is a candidate we can work with. I think the kid from GA is the best QB coming A&T we recruited since Matkins. You all remember him right?

I don't know trues...I think that Fulton has an adequate skill set to be successful. He seems to have enough speed to evade tacklers while keeping his eyes focused down field. I don't think he needs blazing speed, just enough speed and lateral movement to evade the defenses.
