Splash page is the way to go. Even the MEACSports.com has a splash page. IF, let me say that again, IF you keep it fresh and up to date it's great for promotion info. The very first time the info is dated, you've lost credibility. I agree, a splash page IS the way to go... if you have those capabilites.... Clearly you guys have realized we don't have CSTV or Jumptv (MEAC's provider) or anything remotely close with our site... although I'm told something is in the works. In the meantime, gotta use what we can use.... Hey! At least it was on the site!

We do have those capabilities right now. It's call a home page.
Hint: It's the index.html file.
Just turn that into a splash page and turn the current home page to a home.html file or something like that and link the rest of the pages back to that home.html file.
If our site is built on a template, that shouldn't take much effort at all.

Don't know how the site is built, but I DO KNOW i've never seen a splash page on there... and I'm sure there's an obvious reason (and probably not the one you're thinking of Thrilla. ;-) ). Not surprised though, considering the school's site is just as lame, if not worse... although I hear another one of those is in the works, too. You would expect more from a technical university... but maybe that's asking too much.
