I like the team. The young men will realize in about 10yrs how great A&T, & the tradition is. We have been good for such a long time that even when we are losing A&T gets respect. The people know who we are...& above all, We know who we are. So, as I have said many times before, when ever I wear my Aggie gear somewhere, I get all of this action (stories, remarks, homecoming tales) from all era's. Because A&t has won for so long. We always have been tough to beat..(except for this recent span ).Thrilla I flipped it a little bit. What I'm really saying is that the team falls in love with US!..the tradition! The band falls in love with the alumni band. The cheerleaders fall in love with the alumni cheerleaders an so-forth. Even after a loss, they will muster half-smile after we say, 'we'll get'um next time'. You know us..we will not lose for long & tolerate it... lol it's like the yankees. So this team must play hard every night. If they do that we have a chance to do well. I like this team.

Men's college basketball is not second class status to women's college basketball not even at A&T. It just seems that way to a few people or should I say a few people who want it to be that way. When men's basketball team is not winning the fans simply stay away. The majority of fans will not come to see a women's basketball game only. The Lady Aggies have one of the best attendance numbers for women's basketball in the state but they are still hard pressed to out draw the men. For whatever reason the majority of basketball fans just don't get into women's basketball like they do for men. There are a few Aggies who want to start some hate and discontent between the men and woman programs at A&T. Aggies fans of good heart want both the men and women to win. There are no reasons I can think of this year for the fans not to love both teams. Agree 100%

Due to the incredible success of the women's program at A&T, the men's team has been relegated to second class status. Even with the mens team's early season record, most people around here are still focused primarily on what Bibbs and the girls are doing. Personally, I would prefer to watch the women play any day of the week. What will it take for more fans like me to get excited about the men's program? i love both programs... but this mens team is unselfish... they have size... they are physical... & are playing pretty heady... there are no stars... only kids who are playing for one another... their team play is the star... i know its early in the season...but...as long as they keep improving each game & stay humble... this will be a special group... i love the way these kids are playing the game of basketball... this should be the aggie way on how to play the game from here on out... just like the tarheels have the carolina way to play the game... the way we played against nsu should be the aggie way...!!!!!!!!!!

What about playing schools like Elon, High Point, APP ST etc in Corbett? I know it's probably been talked about already on this board but I think a renewed series between UNCG / A&T would be good for both schools if both programs are decent at best. schools do not want to come to corbett... thats the main reason... the other reason is... we don't want to forgo a money game... the men are a big revenue maker... we can't afford to miss a payday... lastly... why ask your mens team to play an area school when they spend more money on their program we do...

Right now the women's team is the greatest source of pride we have as A&T fans. Bibbs is creating a new culture of excellence around here that I hope Eaves, Alonzo Lee and the other coaches will find a way to emulate.

Coach Lee was at the game today. He stopped by say hello to a few Aggies in the crowd. He's motivated and ready to hit the ground running.

I still am not head over heels about this team, I am impressed by their resiliency.
I'm quietly becoming somewhat of a fan of Dr. Julian - especially since I've learned the type of person he is off the court.

After last night's win against SCSU, I have finally decided to jump on the bandwagon.
This team plays with so much heart it is not even funny.
I think Jerry Eaves is squeezing out every ounce of talent from his roster right now. I am very satisfied with how they are performing.

Well, Ahhbigboy is going to hold out until the bitter end. So don't look for him to jump on the bandwagon until the guys make it to the tourny semi-final or championship.

No, I'm not on the bandwagon by any means, but there is no arguing his success this year. He's doing a great job right now, but by no means do I think he's championship worthy.
But obviously, I've been wrong before.
For the record, I'm really not a bandwagon jumper. I'm not a fan of any sports team in particular on any level except for maybe highschool. I follow A&T and I'm on this board everyday because I went there and the quality of info up here is really good. I don't even own any A&T gear though, honest to god. So it's not because of Eaves that I'm not on the bandwagon. I just like being objective and not FANactical.
