Once Jan hits, the competition level is going to drop off significantly. It will drop off in two days. Let's see how they handle it. Halftime A&T 28 NSU 29

I don't know what Bibbs said at halftime but she needs to put it in a can and sell it!

Maxwell, Yo, that Sister is bad! The Women wore down NSU to the nub!. We ran & ran & ran, with a couple of players who did not dress. It looked like Carolina's men team. We ended up with 5 & 7ft jumpers time after time near the 10 min. mark. We wore them down. During halftime, they came out so late that they did not even run a layup drill. The sister picked the ball off the rack & turned around and put it back on the rack. They were ready to go!

... with a couple of players who did not dress. It looked like Bullock, DeBlanc and Sams did not play. Hopefully, everybody will be back by the Va Tech tournament on the 29th.

Yea, Maxell, I would like to see a full strength aggie team in that tourny. We can really use these games to gauge our-selves.

Ironically, the ladies have only been full strength ONE GAME, the first one against Ole Miss.

games like this are the reason i don’t think we’ll run the table in the meac. if a team as lowly as norfolk can lead us at halftime, we could be in big trouble if we play like that against morgan, coppin, hampton, or umes. that’s why i can understand why bibbs might stare anyone down who suggests winning the meac will be easy.
it really comes down to a mind game. bibbs can’t allow our girls to buy into the hype! just because we’re the preseason #1 pick doesn’t mean we’ll automatically win the meac. it won’t be easy, but its critical that our girls stay focused during meac play. they must come out against meac foes with just as much intensity as they had against ecu and auburn.
that will be bibbs’ number 1 challenge, keeping the girls focused. and its easier said than done. every meac team will play their very best game against us and if we don’t come out in the right frame of mind, we’ll get our azz kicked. bibbs knows that...

I usually don't see the women's game from first to finish, but made a special effort to see even the warm-ups on Sat. So image my disappointment of the first half play. When they didn't come out of the locker room but with only about 30 seconds on the clock. I knew their ears were ringing, but wondered if they would be worst because they didn't get any warm-up time. Though they played short handed, they cranked up the pressure and stayed focused the rest of the way. The change between halves is a testament to Coach Bibbs somehow reaching this team during half time and implementing a mindset of better execution especially on defense.
I agree with oleschoolaggie, this team is really playing against itself game in and game out. Though we had superior talent over NSU, until the mindset changed, this squad was going through motions.

It could be the lack of focus or perhaps the chemistry of the starting players and the subs. The two freshmen tried to do more than they were capable of a few times in the game. Kind of forgot their vets may need to handle the ball too.
Amber left the building on crutches and in a boot. She had a noticeable limp throughout the game. The three ladies sitting on the bench in civies are KEY players. Bullock has a walking boot/cast.
