Not sure if you all know about the $4 mil budget cut over on campus, which I'm sure affects sports marketing as well.. however, I'm sure the Aggie Club and Victory Club would be much appreciative for your contributions... and probably even suggestions.

It took me approximately $0.00 to launch my Pack the Pound marketing effort last week.
You don't need $4 million dollars. You just need creativity and hard work.

I agree Thrilla, you do need creativity and hard work.... but that was in reply to Aahhbigboy's request for TV, billboards, etc. Other than BDV.com, what other ways did you market your challenge?

BDV.com is all I needed. You are a new poster here, but you will soon come to understand the shear force of nature that this website is.
Today: hyping A&T women's basketball games; tomorrow: complete global domination.

i was disappointed with the turnout... no pep band... no blue reign & a crowd of 2500/6...
there were about 400 people at the elon game & thats streatching it....
there were about 600 at the belmont abbey game... not too bad of a crowd...
thought we could get at least a thousand for elon... i guess it was too cold to leave the dorms......

Truthseeker, what game were you at?
There were way more people at the Elon game than were at the Belmont Abbey game. The entire lower bowl was full ... and rockin.

The entire lower bowl was full ... and rockin. i'm trying to figure out what game you were at... i counted 75 people at the upper level opposite the team benches... & where i was sitting behind the team benches lower level there were about 50 people... & most of them were for elon... there were more people on the lower level opposite the team benches... there were a good amount of middle school girls at the game... that was positive... but i think the way we played at rock hill kept a lot of the students away... plus it being very cold outside... the area behind the goal where the dog pound is was full... thats where most of the middle schoolers sat... if there were 1000 or 2000 people iwould have been tickled to death... but... 300-400 is not bad for our games... it's just with the talent on this squad... corbett should be packed...

Didn't we hire a sports marketing person whose job it is to increase attendance?

there were no counters to walk through at the entrances to get an exact attendance... when i counted the 75 heads... i just protracted what i saw throughout corbett...
don't understand why no one was keeping an official count ... unless no one volunteered to man the doors...
same thing happened with in the mens game with merchant marines... no official count... i estimated 1000-1200... not much more than that...

I think Kev took some photos of the crowd at the game. In my opinion, there were more fans at the Elon game that at the Merchant Marines game.
