The last time I checked, this is 2008 ... well almost 2009.
So why is it that, even in the midst of the Information Age and at a school that is bold enough to have the word "technical" in its name, you can still not use a credit card or even access a ATM anywhere in Corbet Sports Center?
The other night I was hungrier than a hostage and I was gonna buy a bunch of hot dogs and snacks from the concession stand. Much to my chagrin, the Dawg Pound concession stand only takes cash. However, they do have a computer machine there that will run your Aggie One card. My obvious question: Why not just have another machine that will run your Visa or AMEX? How difficult would that be?
I literally was prepared to spend about $15 for junk food that night. If my wife was with me, that would have probably been $25 to $30 I would have spent. That is potentially $30 that A&T missed out on.
Just to get some cash, I would've had to leave Corbett and run across the street to the Union just to get to the nearest ATM machine.
A&T, we have got to do better. Somebody please fix this.

I do know there are fees that are associated with those services like VISA/Mastercard. But I would agree at the very least please have a ATM inside the gym.

The fees are minimal. A guy representing the vendor did a presentation to me at my former job. Some place out of Atlanta. They take a small percentage of the swipes. After the presentation I realized how very cost-effective it was. Our receipts went up quite a bit afterwards too. Not to mention the staff could no longer nickel and dime us to death by pocketing cash.

To paraphrase Dough Boy from BoyZ N the Hood:
"Our administration either don't know, don't show or don't care what's going on in the Dawg Pound ..."

This may be the gentleman responsible for fixing this problem: Director of Auxiliary Services, Todd K. Johnson

Not only can't you buy tickets online, you can't buy single game reserve seats online or at the box office until January, because they are holding back the reserve seats for potential season ticket purchasers.
Are all home games before January General Admission? Do you think they know that they can charge more for the single game reserve seats and make more money now?

The fee is something like 2 or 3%, if I'm not mistaken. At worst that is 45 cents on a $15 sale. The hotdogs are so rediculously marked up that 45 cents is negligible.
This simple upgrade could represent a significant revenue increase.
