He led all scorers with 21 points.
But how does he have any eligibility left?

It don't matter, the kid is going to have a stage come CIAA. True...but he still has to maintain his eligibility for both semesters, which is something he had problems doing at A&T. I wish him well though...cause the young (old?) bruh can definitely ball!

I grew up with Ben Garrett (A&T QB in the mid 90's) and his OLDER Brother Pat who could really ball. Graduated high school in 89. He had alot of eligibility issues as well, but ended up playing at Fayetteville State in the late 90's. Pat was 4 years older than me and I was three years older than Ben. So he was right at 30.
But it was good to see him finish his college career and I remember FSU making some noise in the CIAA that year.

I've played on teams in the Raleigh summer league with cats that played in the CIAA. Some of those cats came out of prison and got eligibility! lol It ain't nothing for a cat to be 28, 29, 30 and have eligibility.

met Phillip Allen at homecoming this year. he said he had been running the woman, but has RECENTLY found religion and it has turned his life around. I think he said he was living in N.Y. This was his first homecoming sent leaving A&T.

This comes to mind that I think we should look at guys who all playing on the All-military teams like All-Navy, All-Army and All-Air Force. This is thinking out of the box. George Mason had a Navy guy who was mid-major all-american and led them to two conference championships. Remember talking to Coach Capel about him. The player was 28 when he finished and he was a heck of player.

Good luck to both Morrison and Booker. Hopefully, both youngmen have matured and are now on the path to becoming productive citizens.

I caught Booker at the CIAA lighting up Fayetteville State. Well, actually he was hot and cold, hitting a bunch of shots in a row, missing a ridiculous number in a row, then hitting about five straight. I think they have him listed as a freaking sophomore.

A sophomore? That is a possibilty because I believe he only played one year for A&T before becoming academically ineligible. He should be getting a bit old now. What kind of shape was he in? Does anyone know what happened to Guions?

He was still skinny, but he reminded me of the same kid that could take over a game in stretches. He wasn't getting pushed around as much as he used to though.

Booker has got be at least 26 by now and listed as a sophomore? NO WAY.
He played two full seasons when he was here and then flunked out .... twice.
Guions is starting as a senior at a NAIA school back in Kentucky. Never would go to class and cut the mustard here academically.
