Dudley band to play in inaugural festivities Wednesday, November 5 (updated 12:25 pm) By J. Brian Ewing Staff Writer
The Dudley High School marching band will be marching in Washington D.C. as part of the presidential inauguration festivities and they need your help.
The band will participate in the Presidential Inaugural Heritage Music Festival Jan. 16-20. The band will perform in front of nationally renowned judges, according to school officials. Students will also attend a formal ball and take in performances at George Mason University.
The Dudley band needs almost $60,000 and is performing various fundraisers but you can also make a donation by contacting band director Ricardo Reid at 370-8130.
