I dont get it why are we so concerned about how many players Eaves gets from Greensboro or NC. Bibbs has no players from G'boro and only two from NC and only Tweet gets on the floor. Its one thing to analyze Eaves Coching but who cares if they all come from Kentucky if they can ball. As matter of fact Eaves has two players from G'boro Johnson & Alston and as I said earlier Bibbs has none.

EXACTLY! I wouldn't even say he has good points. Do you think we would have anything to say if Eaves was bringing in straight ballers from Miami, China, France or whatever? lol Heck No! But when you go so far to bring in subpar talent, people want to know why you left your home market to get this garbage. For the record, I can car less where Bibbs' players are from. lol They are whipping @ss and that is all we want. Would you care if Fobbs called the plays if he was 28-2 over the last 3 years? EXACTLY!

If I remember Sean Booker & the other kid Gideon (have no idea how to spell name) were ballers they just did not have the maturity to stay on top of the academic side of things.

Bibbs has three NC Players.
Never saw enough of Guions (saw all of the home games during his tenure) to know exactly how good of a player he was or would have been. I suppose coaches recruit where they are most familiar. Personally, I would like to see that familiarity become a lot more amoeboid.
My annual question on this board is still open. How many years are we suggesting that Eaves be given to become a winning coach? Seven, eight or ten (originally it was three, four and five). He is now on his sixth. He was an abject failure last year with a senior team. Everyone who could be heard far and near, talked about how great the team would be. Every coach in college basketball dreams of a senior team. So let's not continue to make excuses as to why the players under performed and point fingers at them. The coach is in charge. We know Eaves history with bigmen, Omari Williams, Webster and Porter. Why didn't McClurkin and Shepherd get some experience last year??? They are bigmen.
Let's all just go to the games and hope that this is the break through year. We won't really know that until we see them play a number of games. Hopefully, by mid-season they will have jelled and are winning many of their games. We can then do our annual mid-season analysis/evaluation of Eaves' performance.

What happened in the game with ucf??
Bibbs and her players need to learn how to finish a game. Rebounding and defending the paint was a big problem last year. Our go to players have to have the mentality of a Suber (killer instinct) in the big games.
