Cougar Pride Convenient and affordable, the First and Ten is an electronic bank draft system whereby donations are debited from your checking account monthly. With a minimum start-up transaction of $10, donations can be spread throughout the year. No checks to mail, no pledge reminders, no hassles!
It's the easiest way of all to support Cougar Pride.
To join First and Ten attach a voided check to the Electronic Fund Transfer Form
and mail the EFT form and check to:

If you would like to make a monthly donation where your gift is automatically debited from your credit card, fill out the Credit Card Transfer Form

A: This is very common and is handled easily by making a call to the Cougar Pride Office. You can call 713-743-GO UH (4684) to request a new enrollment form and return it to us with your updated information. This will help ensure that your gift is not interrupted.
Q: Can more money be taken from my account than authorized?
A: Absolutely not. Electronic Fund Transfer is regulated by federal agencies, just like any other banking transaction. Only you can designate the amount of your transaction. The University of Houston will keep all your authorizations on record.

A: Yes, in order for us to run the program efficiently, the minimum amount is $5 per month. We want to make sure your dollars go to scholarships for our deserving student-athletes, not administrative fees.

A: The Cougar Pride office will provide you with an opportunity each year to adjust your gift amount. If you would like to change at any other time, just call 713-743-GO UH (4684) to request a new enrollment form. For your protection, we ask that you submit any changes in writing.
