It seemed like the 99 machine played that damn J-Lo song every week. Plus the Golden Delights back then were terribly out of shape. Folks on meacfans used to clown us all day long about those big girls. The 03 squad was nowhere close as entertaining as this year's machine has been from week to week. They didn't have a lot of variety in their shows that season. You can cross those two off .... Who knew you were even paying attention? LOL!! '03 was the band that went to Vegas and unleashed that fury on Southern. They were on fire that year. And the 03 band PUT that thang on everybody at the battle of the bands in Q-C!

Don't mention the 03 band and Vegas to Thrilla. He heard sweet music but not from the band, it was from the sight of seeing and meeting his future bride and present wife, and the mother of his son "Lil Fat".

That is also the year A&T embrassed everyone, Central in the rain, NSU at the Big Dick, Howard, Hampton, went to Daytona and crushed BCC and then stood toe to toe with FAMU when the 100 finally came back to town. All this and with under 150 piece band. The 03 band won the battle of the bands in Charlotte and was very impressive. And the SU game in Vegas was a sight to see. After that, everyone quit

I remember 99 being the year that I started paying as much attention to the band as I was the football team because of Golden Delight. But I notice that no one has mention Dr. Hodge's last band in 2002. By the way Thrilla it was the 2000 band that played J-Lo's "Waiting for Tonight" every game.
