Young teams tend to out perform older ones nearly 70 percent of the time if you take the time to crunch all the relevant numbers among NCAA Championship division and D-1 teams in the last four years and excel during the regular and post season.
I think tha the men's basketball team and the football team will follow the women's example from a year ago in their rate of improvement this fall.

I honestly don't see the men finishing higher than fourth or fifth at best.

If we finish 4th after losing that many seniors, that's a good year

We will have to wait and see how well these young players will play together as a team. I think the early going will be mistake-fill until they learn how to play together. Their early success will be due to their quickness and hard work on defense just like in 2006-2007 season. This young team will also have to make the easy shots. They can't miss a lot of layups, close-up shot/lane shots and miss a lot free throws and win games.
Again, I think this up coming season, this Aggie team will be quick. Their success will greatly depend on their quickness on defense and their ability to get easy shots on offense without getting out of control.

I believe this team will surprise a lot of people. I dont see them finishing any less than 4th in the conference.
