Ok, here's the scenario: We've invented a time machine and you get to go back and add (5) former A&T football players, living or dead, to the 2008 roster. Any position, but you only get five ... and they have to play with this year's team.
Who would you select?
Here's my five:
K/P Yonnick Matthews LB Chris McNeil OL Quasim Mitchell DB Curtis Deloatch OL Wheeler Brown
Since our kicking game is looking absolutely abysmal this season, I added Matthews because he can do it all; field goals, kick offs and punts. Chris McNeil was unstoppable. Deloatch was a shut down corner, nationally ranked kick returner and a great team leader. Wheels and Mitchell would open up holes for Iron Mike and buy some time for Herb.
We still don't have much depth, but with those additions I think we compete for a MEAC championship this season.

I think you are already getting the equivalent of Ivan Butler in Kelvin Jackson. But I could be wrong.

I Started to put Mo Hicks on here but then I realized that our backfield is already deep enough 1.) QB Alan Hooker (Mike Vick without the dogs) 2.) OL Quasim Mitchell (Coach Hayes used to call him Pound Puppy) 3.) LB Chris McNeil (Nothing else to say) 4.) DB Darryl Klugh (one of the best DB's we've ever had) 5.) DB James McCoy (was a very underrated corner who played alongside Deloatch. He didn't have the stats like Deloatch because they wouldn't throw to his side.)

So basically you are going to stand pat with our current kicking game.

DL- Pelshak (No one could reach block him) K/P - Dawkins (he won three games in 99 with field goals) DB- Klugh (Salty Dog) KR - Ramondo North (can take a kick or reverse the distance at anytime, We are missing that!!!!) I know we have speedy but I don't think he's on North's level... DL- Reliford (MVP aggie eagle classic 99, was on pace to break McNeal's sack record before blowing out his knee)

Pelshak McNeil Carpenter Deloatch
No one would score on us. Forget the 5th player. Replace Fobbs with Hayes and I'm good.

Here's my picks for the Blue Death Time Machine
K/P Yonnick Matthews ( Really dont think the punting is bad considering that the woodson kid is called on 6 or 7 times a game. I was more impressed with Yonnicks Field Goals not takin anything from him. Both Woodson and Matthews are great punters) DL Elvin Bethea ( Enough said hall of famer) OL Junious Coston ( Was a veteran on the o-line could play any position) DB Curtis Deloatch (Was fun to watch especially on Punt Returns)

darryl klugh (my fave player when i was younger) bj little (maybe the best lb we ever had, he at least deserves to be in the discussion) connell maynor (i know everybody likes hooker but i think maynor was better running qb) chris mccneil (the most dominant de ive ever seen) victor marte (the o-line hasnt been the same to me since he left)

Herb Dixon would have been one of our best ever. Does anybody remember Dewayne "Pee Wee' Board, or am I the only one old enough.

I remember Pee Wee. He came to one of the Aggie Club's fundraising banquet as our guess speaker several years ago.
