This is what I've been saying the whole time. But I'm learning from my thread that these losers (Fobbs, Todd) have supporters. Michigan loses 1 game and everyone is calling for Carr's job. We lose for 2 straight seasons and we still have people that are happy just because they have seats in the gold section. The mentality is sickening. And as far as talent, I couldn't agree with you more. He doesn't have to leave the state. I realize that almost everyone on this site agrees with us, but the supporters are enabling this disaster. This coach is an absolute disaster. Do you realize that the team that embarassed us on national TV last year is coming in for homecoming? Lord have mercy, who is doing the scheduling. With this coach, we need to bring in the school of the deaf for homecoming.

Firefobbs, you're right. And Dee minus need to go with him. I'd like to apologize for suggesting Dee minus Todd when the ad position was vacant. Our entire athletic dept. is in such deep sheeet since she's taken over. The problems may not entirely be caused by her, but a whole hellava lot of them are on her hands.
Alas, the reason fotts is still here may be because it may be hard to buyout his deal. Therefore, we stuck with him.

Since ya'll are so fixated on laying everything at Dee Todd's door step, you guys need to remember the most important and most forgotten factor in all this - that the Board of Trustees and Chancellor James C. Renick all had final approval on Fobbs' contract and terms and not the AD.
It was that same Chancellor and Board that fired Bill Hayes, that fired Al Scandrett, that fired Charlie Davis, that fired George Small ..... all in a space of 36 months and never raised the athletic budget one stinking penny while having to buyout all of those contracts and pay legal fees to boot.
Hell, we've spent nearly double in buyouts and settlements (which everyone seems to want to continue to do) than we'll ever pay Fobbs for 5 years.

Maybe if you'd pay your Alumni dues you could afford to buy Fobbs out.

Everybody wants to blame Dee Todd and not look at the whole picture. Granted there might be some things but, we were having problems way before Dee Todd got here.

Aggie One you are on target again. I make it a point to attend all trustee meetings and alot of this info is discussed. During one of the early meetings when Renick got to A&T, the issue of giving the athletic program an increase in funding and he said " I don't want the tail waggling the university". Therefore, funding during his administration was very, very limited. I believe more BDV members should attend A&T trustee meetings you will be more informed about what is happening at A&T.

"Funding was limited" He ain't raise the budget in six years. That has nothing to do with the longest losing streak for a fully-funded football program in history. Firefobbs, I think every kid you mentioned was recruited during Small's regime. That being said I don't care where you get 'em from, just win with class and graduate. "WHY IS FOBBS STILL AT A&T???" 'Cause you ain't wrote the check to buy him out yet.
