I wasn't at the WSSU debacle yesterday but from the reports I have read, aggie jazz's favorite coach really cost us the game and proceeded to embarrass the entire university in the process.
While Bibbs was dishing out her normal beatdowns and making A&T proud, Eaves was proving to the world once again just how much he can't coach ... or keep his emotions in check.
Should the A&T administrators suspend Eaves for one game to show that this type of boorish behavior will not be tolerated?

BTW: Aggie Jazz's favorite coach did this exact same act at Howard last year. This is like his escape pod when he knows that he is about to lose a game he should have won.

I must admit, that was straight-up embarassing. Somebody has to at least sit him down. Coaches that are effective, i.e. whose players respond to them, don't feel the need to get in touch with their emotions the way that he does. Here's the thing with a suspension though...would you rather be embarassed by Eaves' emotional tantrums or embarassed by Keyes' lack of a prescence on the sideline? I don't know which is worse. LOL, this is really a circus, not as bad as the football team, but a circus none the less.
EAVES HAS US HOODWINKED!

I think suspension would be a little strong at this point, but I'm pretty certain that either Wheeler or Battle will put a little bug in his ear sometime soon. Problem is.........it's probably going to happen again.

Well, I have a little hangover from the Oscar parties but I cannot deny Eaves shortcomings controlling his emotions in last Saturday's game. Not only did he cost his team a chance to win with his four technical fouls but he lost his objective to win when he refused to put Ed Jones back into the game when he got upset with him in the first half. Mistakes and misjudgment happens with players. You deal with it and move on.
Eaves must come to realize who his friends are and also realize he needs to make more friends. Friends can be made even with people like Bornthrilla. Now with aighbigboy........it may be a lost cause unless you put him on your coaching staff. ;D
A verbal reprimand would be appropriate.

why should he get suspended... i'm still trying to figure out why rush got suspended... did the league suspend the kid from hampton last yr. who flat out cold cocked the famu kid... NOOOOOOOOOO...!!!!!!!!! so why is it that someone from a&t is now the subject of suspension... when other schools get free passes... ?

Agree w/ Truthseeker, why even suggest that Eaves be suspended unless that is a rule in the MEAC. Do you really want the university administration handing out punishment for a coach getting a technical or a player being suspended???

The game wasn't on TV so the MEAC brass can't make a ruling on it.

As long as there wasn't any chair throwing or punches thrown and he left the court as directed, I see no suspension. However, if this tirade continued long after the game was over and toward the game officials, then a suspension would be in order. At the very least there probably needs to be discussions about this trend with Coach Eaves from his superiors. At some point you stop embarrassing yourself and begin to embarrass the Program and the University.

Didn't someone mention that there is another possible player not suiting up(transfer) for Eaves this season? Any info?

You all may call embarassing, I call it fighting for your team and program. Especially, if officials are doing a poor job and may cost your team the game i.e. Tenn vs. Rutgers.

From what I hear there might have been a couple of calls that the officials (MEAC mind you) might have missed. Eaves needs to remember that these same officials might be calling our game in the tournament. They might remember his shenanigans from the Winston game. Calm down Bro!!!!!!

The game wasn't on TV so the MEAC brass can't make a ruling on it. what does tv have to do with anything... you have referees at the game... thomas not suspending the kid from hampton is BS... but he suspends rush... again...BS...
