Fellow Aggies, I call upon you to help subside the growing feelings of morose and doubt that linger in my mind. I fear that we will not be able to hold on to the woman who is easily the best coach that we have had at A&T in years...Coach Bibbs. She will continue to elevate this team in a very short time and may even scare or beat someone in the big tournament. Someone will come calling for her and we will not have the money to match it. She is good...VERY GOOD, and I am sad that she wont be around long. Can someone make me feel better about this?? p.s. - I cant see anyone in the conference beating them this year.

This is what she does. She did it at Grambling. She did it at Hampton. Wheeler will treat her right. The big boys will only look if she makes noise in the tournament. She can do anything at A&T that she can at another mid-major (on the court).
Stop worrying. Its a long season and there's still 10-15 more games to play. As far as the money is concerned, we can divert some of Fobbs'.

Just hope the assistants are soaking everything up, because in the event that they snatch her up, it'd be a natural progression for one of them to take the job.

No worries (about her going anywhere). They out talent everybody. While her recruiting is impeccable, in my opinion, her X and O game is on zero. If you watch, I mean really watch, it doesn't even look like she calls the offensive plays. She doesn't even look like she knows them. You're talking to someone whose been to every home game, by the way. With that being said, she might be the best coach (overall) that we've had since Corbett in any sport....other than Space of course. And lets not give her all the credit, the assistants do get a paycheck. Every success is only as good as their help.

No need worrying. Someone's bound to snatch her up soon and she deserves it. I'd only be upset if she left for another peer school or conference. I can easily see her moving on to an A-10 or Conference USA School.

I don't. How long's she been coaching in the college ranks? To date, she has been snatched up by the likes of Hampton, retirement, and us.
I ain't saying nobody wants her. I'm just saying it appears she is comfortable with hbcus.
Has she won any postseason games?

I just met Halima Cotwright at the Classic in La against PV. She was at the game with her daughter. She told me she used to play for Ayantee back in the 95-98 seasons. She was such a nice person. Does anyone know what happen to her?

Coach Bibbs is completely committed to A&T saying more than once both in public and private conversations I have had with her, she loves it here, the students, the campus, the fan support, and her ability to recruit quality young women here is far easier than any of her previous stops and now with she has both Battle and Wheeler's unconditional support the future is even brighter.
She isn't that far away from completing a building job to make the Lady Aggies a top mid major program and with another stellar recruiting class beginning to take shape for 2009. .

Sign Bibbs to a 10 year contract and give her the additional resources she wants. This should be a no brainer. We gotta learn that we have to step-up and pay-up for performance.

I'm just saying it appears she is comfortable with hbcus. Has she won any postseason games? Exactly! I totally agree. You guys are caught up in the hype. Ask yourself this one. Other than Hampton's coach going to Evansville a few years ago, when have you ever seen a HBCU coach go to a bigger conference like the A-10 or Conference USA??? Heck, I'll even give you the Sunbelt or WAC conferences. Ummmmm, the answer is probably NEVER. Enjoy the wins, but calm down. lol

Bibbs, or any other successful HC, doesn't win 400+ games without recognizing the value of a competent staff.
