whos idea was it to turn people away at the door... ?? from what i could tell we could have gotten another 500 or so people in corbett... there was room... attendence was 5834... does anyone really know how many people corbett does seat... ? this game would have been a good one to experiment with to actually see what the seating capacity really is...

i guess the main question is... whos idea was it to turn people away at the door who had bought tickets in advance... ? isn't that one of the main reasons to buy your ticket early... (the other being to avoid having to stand in long lines)... the reserve sections weren't full... i mean there was enough room left for another 400-500 people... i guess i'm puzzled because if you print X amount of tickets to represent total capacity... & you sell out of those tickets then the areana should be filled to capacity... but if you turn people away at the door who bought tickets in advance then the areana will not be at total capacity... because you are turning away people who purchased seats who are not being let in to fill those seats...!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was one of those people. I bought my ticket at 2:00 and went to visit the in-laws for about an hour. I get back at 3:45 and I can't get in. Then the girls at the ticket window tell me that I have to wait until Monday and go to the ticket office for a refund. Eventhough I live in Atlanta I understand that if all the students come to the game there is going to be an issue with seating. However, if that's the case it needs to be written on the tickets "Ticket does not guarantee admission, in case of a sellout". If I would've known that, I would've walked in immediately after purchasing my ticket. Refunds should also be available on site.

That's wild. I didn't even know all of that was going on. It's the "parking ticket" philosophy. Print far more decals than there are spaces and make those who paid...suffer. And why couldn't they refund the tickets on site? That's absolutely ludicrous.
