I attended this game. We looked lost, tired and uninterested in playing. The guys had no legs after the 8:00 minute mark of the first half.
UM's coach said that he was concerned that his squad would be too focused on "leaving for the Christmas break. Most of these guys will be headed to the airport right after the game." I think that was our problem 'cause we weren't focused on the game at all. Guys were clowning around during pregame warmups and did not look serious. Corbett would have never put up with that! I was really disappointed in their EFFORT.
The South Florida Alumni Chapter gave them a really nice reception at their hotel on the night before the game, too.

eaves has challenged the men with this type of schedule & so far the kids have not met the challenge... turnovers are killing this team... a senior laiden team should not be turnning the ball over like we are doing at this point... we need to go back to ball handling & decision making 101... something that was not worked on during the off season........

maybe the kids will figure it out for themselves but as seniors you think they would already know.... & if the kids think conference play is going to be easy.... WRONG... it's only going to be tougher....
the opportunity for others to step up is right there... but for some reason our kids are like the football team... allergic to score points... my philosophy has always been... the tougher the opponnent the smarter you have to play... the tougher you have to play...
