I mean seriously. I don't care if he scored 80 points last game against Depaul.
You can not honestly tell me Eaves is letting this guy throw up jumpers from half court and not ordering him to sit his azz down on the bench.
His teammates were looking at him like "WTF?"

Yeah, I hope all this senseless hype calms down a little bit. The guy's shot selection is absolutely terrible. This is an obvious case of "reading the newspapers". He is obviously trying to get a postseason award. I'm with you thrilla, he could've broken Wilt Chamberlain's record and I wouldn't want him to take the shots that he does. It's crazy.

He was pulling from 30 ft out, brick city!!!!!!!!! Tennessee is a top 10 team in the country, I think we are doing the best we can wit what we got......... Rush has got to make better shot selections and find other ways to score an dish out assist to OPEN teammates..........

Rush hurts us tonight....Bad shot selection and not playing defense.
The team as whole needs to work on their defense, passing, shot selection and lineups.
Now Thomas Coleman is a beast and will get better with time.

Tennesee just had better athletes. They were not much taller but they had 10-15 more pounds of muscle. And oh yeah Rush was just being Rush. Those are the same shots that went in against Depaul but they were straight bricks tonight.

The second half the team on a whole played much better and Rush was not a big part of it. Rush has got to be patient and let the game come to him. I agree Rush should have been bench for those foolish shots. I know we are a better team than what the score indicates and I think we will show that when we play Miami, Mizzou and Washington State

I love A&T just as much as the next man, but we've gotta be realistic. Rush scoring 40 might be fool's gold.

I just hope that Eaves has given Rush a little more direction on his shot selection. He wont necessarily be able to jack up that many three's against NSU....especially since he torched them last year. I expect NSU to give Rush a lot of attention. With our improved interior play, good defense and better shot selection I think we take care of NSU Saturday.

..that'd be nice. It leaves the middle vulnerable and gives our "improved" frontcourt a chance to shine.

Rush is a hooper. Eaves needs to start him. He deserves to start.

I heard different reasons why Eaves continues to bring Rush off the bench but none of them made sense to me.
I think if you start the kid he will feel like he has time to let the game come to him, and not like he has to rush (pun intended) to make things happen.
Sometimes that "Vinnie Johnson" mindset hurts him more than it helps him.

Throw away the DePaul game and he is only 6 of 55 on three pointers!
