I understand that you will never see a dunk in the girls game and there is less athleticism, but OUR girls are probably the best team on campus.
We have to give it up to that Tarrell Robinson, who is the assistant coach that, most likely, recruits all of these girls. He's working with a pitiful budget and a pitiful AD and has managed to land the #17-rated player in the nation!!!!!!!!!!! Let's keep in mind that he probably had to drive to Pennsylvania several times in a season to recruit her because I doubt Todd would pay for a plane ticket. I saw her the other night and she is gonna be special.
Not to mention that we have the MEAC Freshman of the year (Tweet) and all MEAC and preseason MVP favorite (Amber). My question is, why aren't they getting any love on this message board or otherwise? I mean, Eaves has done a great job since taking over from Wide Legs, but his accomplishments pale in comparison to what Bibbs and Robinson have built over there. They show no signs of stopping. I don't think that there is any reason for us not to get to the games at 5:30 to see these girls. What do you think?

I really give our girls team a lot of love. They are going to be the bomb this year! I, for one, really enjoy seeing them play! As far as recruiting is concerned, I think Bibbs is the most instrumental in being able to close the deal on hot prep recruits.

I understand that you will never see a dunk in the girls game and there is less athleticism, That's the answer to your first question. But despite that I hope the fans will show up for their games this year.

Jaleesa Sams was the #33 rated recruit by Scout.com. Where did you get the #17 ranking from? There have been a number of threads on this message board regarding womens basketball. On the fron page of this forum there are at least 6 threads that discuss the ladies.
