Should we play NCCU or WSSU at Corbett or the Greensboro coliseum in basketball? Can we ever play NCCU at Corbett due to the fight of 91 or 92?

Stay with the Coliseum like back 93, 94, 95. The game was still hype, but try and keep it a freebie for students. Winston has always played in Corbett if I'm not mistaken. They did in 93 and 94, but I cant remember after that. I just think they haven't played each other since then.
I think that environment in Corbett this past year is to much for an Aggie/Eagle game. We dont want to make ESPN again.

Are the current students fiercely hyped about a A&T-NCCU or A&T-WSSU rival game that could lead to fist-a-cuffs?
I say, play the game in Corbett but put out a edict that violence or rowdy mis-behavior will not be tolerated. Violators will be arrested and then suspended. A&T should add additional security inside the gym and in the parking lots.

i can't see us playing in the coliseum unless it's for free.... if this is an attempt to make money we would have to charge students plus have free rent.... if this game is part of "winterfest" or "feb1" activities i hope someone includes the sga so activities could be planned for the special events center & war memorial auditorium after the game.....
but above all if you are trying to make money... don't schedule the games during the week like in the past..... play the games on the weekend or holiday weekend!!!!

I say have it in Corbett if you are going to sellout the gym, meaning you dont let any more people in after it fills up. Both games will be a home/home series soon, so the visiting fans shouldn't be traveling all the much anyway. I know they are close, but many Winston students did not travel to Corbett the last time they played there. As for Central..............I love my black people but................leave it in the Gboro Coliseum for A&Ts home game and play it at the Dean Dome or The old UNC gym for the Central's home game. If they show that they can act right for 1 year then move it to Corbett and McDougal. That's what we did/doing for football.

ps: the alumni association should also be involved in making decisions on planned events so they can get the word out to aggies across the nation!!! bball should be able to make money on the nccu & wssu games if all parties involved have their thinking caps on... & work together!!!

I agree with AGGIEJAZZ...play the games in Corbett, but have added security and don't put up with any BS from students or the general public.

Dawg pound effect will be missing anywhere but Corbett...were students charged when the game was played at the coliseum before?

I think it was reduced for the home team. It was something like $5 students with home team IDs and regular price for the visiting students(94-96).
We did play Winston at Corbett. No problems at the games what so ever. I had some friends that went to WSSU and they loved the atmosphere. They said the WSSU home games were boring.

WSSU and NCCU should be in Corbett for us, let them decide what they want do it with it when we have to play at their place.
I thought the reason we played NCCU in GBO was because we played the AE in Raleigh?
THe atmosphere will be electric. I always thought it sucked to not play NCCU in Corbett. We always outsource are best games. We should keep all the revenue from them games, because NCCU and WSSU will bring a ton people.

The revenue aspect aside, the GAME should be in Corbett because of the game itself.
