How prophetic was it that I ask to start Ewing and Rush and they get the minutes down the stretch and lead the team in scoring? We were heavily outrebounded in the first half, but we made up the rebounding deficit and in the end both teams finished with 36 rebounds. Jason Wills is priceless because he somehow finds a way to be among the MEAC leaders in rebounding and field goal percentage at 6'6" getting the majority of his shots in transition.
Eaves gets a big up from me on pulling off a tough win. At least we know that we can play with ANYONE in this conference on any given day because Rush, Ewing, and Wills can shoot their way into any game.

They get the minutes that they always get. They just made shots, that's all.

How right you are. They made the shots without taking that many, they were over 50% from the field. They were just more efficient in shooting for a change. Free throws could have won it in regulation time had there not been as many misses, but the right people went to the line in OT. Nelson was pretty good from the line when he was in the game. You have to try keeping Roberts, Chaplin, Hernandez, Booth and even Wills off the line at critical times in the game. At best they are usually 50% from the line, if not 0%.

Morgan missed a lot of free throws also.
