Three things in life that are guaranteed.
Go ahead and tell me about how small his recruiting budget is and how he can't afford to hire quaility assistants and how bad the program was when he got here.
That still won't explain how he keeps losing home games against teams he should be beating easily.
Dude is getting EXPOSED.

Fang came into the Dawg Pound with a less-talented team and controlled the game from start to finish. It was the exact same thing that happened against Hampton and BCC.
For some unknown reason, Eaves decided to stay back in a half court zone defense today which allowed Coppin's shooters to kill us from the outside. They had a 6-8 white guy who must have nailed about 10 jumpers against our zone.
It also makes no sense to me why he insists on keeping his best players on the bench to start every half. That is exactly why we can never get off to fast start and always have to play catch-up.

If Fang had Eaves' players, he would have won by 20.

This team must shoot well, period. We shot 35% from the field. A&T is 0-13 when shooting less than 44% from the field. Eaves doesn't have a Plan B when shots don't fall.

Bottom line was that on yesterday our kids got outplayed. You gotta make shots to win and we didn't make shots. The 6-8 white kid came into the game averaging 3 ppg.

BTW: If we lose Monday night we will have gone 1-3 on our last homestand of the season. 1-3 against the likes of Morgan, BCC, FAMU and Coppin. 1-3 in the Dawg Pound. 1-3 when you are trying to secure a favorable tournament seed.

???Eaves and his team were discombobulated. They seemed to be in a funk, never being able to sustain a run or sieze control of the game. Error after error and/or what seemed to the wrong combination of players on the floor. THIS IS ANOTHER GAME that should have been WON!! Especially, when Fang doesn't appear to be doing a whole lot of coaching. Remember Fang of old was a sideline up and down kind of coach and very animated. You see none of that from him now.
I noticed that he (Fang) and Corbett had a nice visit as always.

Thrilla, A&T is not going to win every game. Yes. Fang is a better coach than Eaves but he has earned it with years of success in the MEAC. Eaves in time may surpass Fang. You may be dissappointed in the loss but this loss is not a big surprise. The losses that kills ya and put a damper on your enthusiasm are losses against the BCC. Also, the Hampton loss after the Aggies comeback and seemingly control of the game at the four minute mark left in the game. But the Aggies did beat FAMU. Keep the faith, Brotha. Things aren't all bad.

I like Mamie Jones, Bibbs, Shumate, Spaceman and Fobbs as coaches at A&T. I'm just not a big fan of Eaves.
I've seen enough basketball up close and behind the scenes to identify when someone knows what they are doing and when someone is just throwing darts at a board, hoping that anything works. There is no rhyme or reason to Eaves' coaching style.
He might be the only college head coach in the nation who refuses to play his best players to start each half.

In two years you will have Fobbs in your crosshairs...
