I've seen enough basketball up close and behind the scenes to indentify when someone knows what they are doing and when someone is just throwing darts at a board, hoping that anything works. There is no rhyme or reason to Eave's coaching style.

He might be the only college head coach in the nation who refuses to play his best players to start each half.
