What time did the women's game start?
Live Stat has it:
HAM 67 NCA&T 89
-- 2nd period -- 02:34 remaining
However, let the beatdowns at Corbett begin!!

She essentially dismantled the whole team after the first year and started over with two key transfers (Bland and Taylor) and solid recruits from championship high school programs.

I understand but this is BDF and were we asleep at the wheel as I did not see this team making this sort of progress this quickly....how many years does Bland and Taylor have left? She needs to keep on keeping on.....

With the talent Bibbs is going to have next yr. is the AD going to charge admission to the womens games that are independent of the mens??? Probably not. Unfortunately it's still Women's BB and there really is not the fan support that there is at major programs. However, if Bibbs got the team playing at a higher level than they are now and moving towards being ranked, then the discussion changes. I think that they could try to start charging $1-2. It's not much, but it could pay for some expenses. The girls average about 300 people each home game. That would be about $300-600 a game and $2100-4200 for about 7 home games. With the recruits she's got coming in, her team is going to be even stronger next year. Like I said before, I believe if she could get a transfer C on Bland's level or at least a top 150-200 C, then the team would move to the next level and possibly be in a position to be ranked.

www.ncataggies.com/Womensbasketball/2006-2007%20articles/waddellrotw.htmAnother honor for a freshmen. ----- WADDELL WINS ROOKIE OF THE WEEK -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- First career starts yield success for Wilmington native GREENSBORO, January 29, 2007 – N.C. A&T women’s basketball player Shantar Waddell went from playing less than 15 minutes per game to becoming a starter to finally becoming the MEAC Rookie of the Week for week of Jan. 22-28. Waddell averaged 11.5 points, 10.5 rebounds, 3.0 blocks and 2.5 steals for the week in helping the Aggies defeat Morgan State and Norfolk State. “Shantar is a young lady who has what I call a basketball body,’’ said head coach Patricia Cage-Bibbs. “She has a tremendous wingspan, which helps her defensively and she is a very athletic person. She is another North Carolina player who is doing well for us. It’s always a good sign for your program when you can recruit well in your own state.” Waddell recognition becomes the Aggies sixth conference weekly recognition of the season. Fellow freshman and North Carolina native Ta’Wuana “Tweet” Cook has won two Rookie of the Week honors and a Player of the Week award. Sophomore Amber Bland has won MEAC Player of the Week twice. Never in the history of the program has three different players won MEAC weekly honors in the same season. Waddell earned her honor after making her first two career starts last week as she replaced another freshman Lamona Smalley, who has been out of the lineup with an injury. The Aggies are 12-8 overall and 7-2 in the MEAC and face Maryland-Eastern Shore Saturday afternoon at 2 in Princess Anne, Md.

If you check out her profile on the ath. dept. website, Waddell seems more like a defensive player, but she's put up some good offensive numbers since entering the starting five.

If the women played home 5gms in Dec. and we had 2500 fans/gm in Corbett at $5 a head...... let me see...... that's $62,500!!! Surely we could get that kind of crowd..... think patronization!!!!
