Well the folks back in the day have the advantage of then as well as now. So, if one didn't see a particular player or players at an earlier time in their career can't really say one player was better than another. Also you have to consider that most of the good A&T teams had floor balance in scoring.

I'm glad Depaul didn't see fit to guard him. I doubt few others will make that mistake. I think Eaves has enough guys in his arsenal to pick up any slack.

Why did you say that "I'm glad Depaul didn't see fit to guard him" Man, if watch A&T B-BALL last year, you would know that Rush will run your a$$ into about 1,000 screens in ONE DAMN GAME! Depaul could not keep up with HIM!!!

I said that because the last time I saw him play (at Morgan) he was guarded. They knocked him on his a$$ enough times to make his shot "off".

The win was great, I just hope we can have some consistency in our play.

Me too. We were consistently missing shots until Depaul let the little guy shoot. The first thing I noticed when I was through dancing in the house after I saw we won was that Steve Rush won. If he tweaks an ankle or has two threes batted back in his face or eats some bad salami the night before the game we lose.
As always, I try not to get too high or too low (unless we're off losing 20+ games in a row). I just try to see it for what it is. What I see is I think we have enough options to ensure we won't live or die by Rush. It just so happens we didn't have to show our whole hand against Depaul.

Its nice to know you have Rush as an option. But we need to be able to get it done whether he's hot or cold. He's a streaky shooter, so we need to have options when his shot not dropping. And i dont just mean Jason Wills. Ewing as well as the big men need to step up.
