*Correction, Dee Todd does not report to Dr. Kiel. Instead, she reports to Mr. Henry Nichols the Special Assistant to the Chancellor for Finance, Contracts and Athletics. Dee's position is within the Office of the Chancellor.
Nonetheless, Dr. Kiel will work with Athletics to develop a fundraising and development plan.

There was a period of time when Athletics fell under Student Affairs and reported to the VC for Student Affairs. (and the period when the VCSA was the AD simultaneously. thus possibly explaining the 2 leased Aggie Buses)
As a result there are still some coaches and athletic staff who's department is still listed as "student affairs"
