Hopefully, despite what admissions standards are in place the school will take a holistic approach to reviewing student applications. That would be an excellent idea for us to do...add a required personal statement and essay to the mix also.

I'm not to proud to be corrected. As a matter of fact, I appreciate it. I've never claimed to be perfect, just good at what I do.
That's why I'm successful!

"too" proud
I thought they already required an essay and a personal statment. I know I had to write one.
Is that 1000 SAT on the old scale or the new scale?

Poetic
What happened to "I'm not to (sic) proud to be corrected?" Must've been left in the "seller."
In any event I would be interested in hearing Battle's take on the student population, graduation rate, and long overdue proposed increases in admissions standards.

I support the increase in SAT&GPA,However what impact will this have on our ability to recruit student athletes ? Also, I keep hearing about these increases and I would like to know if this is official. Has any one seen this in writing? Do these increases apply to just certain Schools ie Engineering, Business, Nursing, etc ? Help me out!!!!!
