A conversation worth noting...

The real question is, how much longer can this man withstand the withering criticism he is receiving from all quarters as people armed with a modicum of intelligence begin connecting the dots? If I may quote Martin's Montgomery mantra: "How long? Not long! For the moral arch of the universe is long, but it bends toward justice!" DeForest

No, my friend, the issue is not how long he can withstand withering criticism but, rather, how long can this country withstand his withering leadership. We are morally corrupt to allow him to continue in his position of power. We have allowed him to attack Afghanistan, and murder innocent people in Iraq while destroying the country. So long as our individual plates have been full we have ignored his demonic influence on our culture and all of it's institutions. Now we are focused on New Orleans while he sets the Supreme Court's judicial agenda for the next fifty years, completing the roll back of all the decent and humanitarian progress the court has made. We readily take our shoes off at the airports while our children are killed in war; we stand mute while our young people are tricked into military service, while the cost of education skyrockets denying our children opportunity and learning; we watch while the conservatives and the militarists in this country make fortunes from our fears and blood lust; our hospitals across the country are closing, our schools of higher learning are becoming elitist, and our public infrastructure is decaying before our very eyes, while we smile for the security cameras and feel safe. We are each a handyman of the Devil... enablers for a narrow minded vengeful idiot. It takes a whole national village of morally corrupt and self centered people to raise an idiot like George W. Bush!
