Sanders Released from UNC Staff

Marvin Sanders has been released from the Tar Heel coaching staff, sources close to the situation informed Inside Carolina on Monday.
Sanders spent three seasons at UNC as the defensive coordinator and defensive backs coach. He is the seventh assistant from John Bunting's staff to be let go by new head coach Butch Davis, joining running back/special teams coach Andre Powell, wide receiver coach Dave Brock, defensive end coach Danny Pearman, offensive coordinator/quarterback coach Frank Cignetti, assistant

This is one available coach I don't want Fobbs to hire.
UNC's defense was almost as bad as ours last year. And they had a bunch of seniors on that team. He should have gotten the axe after the Furman game.

The year before last season the defense was pretty good and Marvin Sanders got a big bonus from UNC. A&T would be lucky to have this guy. Look for Sanders to go down to Conf USA or something like that.

Sanders made over $200,000 AFTER THAT BONUS/RAISE...He will not have any problems finding a job....But the Furman game must give you pause...of course you would take him
