Lets analyze the state of aggie sports. A&T has to be in worse shape than anyone in the state of NC. First of all they fired Hayes and brought in Smalls, who couldnt get the job done. To Smalls credit he did win the MEAC with Haye's players. Now we have Fobbs. Granted its his first year, but to go 0 for is ridiculous. How many schools nationwide went 0 for??? They did not only go 0 for, they got beat down every week. They were so bad, that I have to believe that there is a possibility of them going 0 for again. Not to mention Fobbs salary, he is stealing money without a mask!!! My magic number is 6 wins next season or pull the plug on him and his staff, before he digs a deeper hole.
EAVES My man this is the last call for alcohol for you pimp! Im looking at what he has done since he arrived. To his credit Curtis Hunter did take the program and drive it into the bottom of the Pacific Ocean, but this is year 4. Its time for results. Granted they have won 3 games so far, but 2 of them came against middle school teams. Who is doing the recruiting??? They should not have to leave the state of NC with all the talent that is here. I know for a fact that they dont recruit locally like they should. Tommy Amaker, I mean Kees doesnt think anybody can play. One kid just signed a scholarship with a major school that Kees didnt think could play. Eaves did take one step in the right direction by letting Bill Sutton get off the bench. What was his role? Then young Billy Donovan that Eaves has on the bench, what does he bring to the table??? And Frye please read this guy's bio on the website and you would see that he doesnt know any basketball. But Eaves needs 14 wins to be productive in my book this season. 2 of the wins dont count so you got 13 to go. Who is recruiting your post players? Who are you guys recruiting for next year?
P.S. Last call for alcohol!!!!!!!!!!!!

You cant really say Eaves doesn't recruit locally when both of our freshmen this year are from Greensboro. I think basketball is more competitive than I've seen since I've been an Aggie (2004) and honestly he's on the right track, he finally has a team this year. I think our assistants are decent, I've read Frye's bio and wondered why he was here too but his pops is a legend (ever heard of the Henry Frye Pre-Law Society) that kind of pedigree could help with character issues maybe. Our big men are there for size, I mean I think its crazy for a 7-footer to only average 3 points a game in high school but hey, he's a 7-footer....Give basketball a break and for the record I'm not discussing football anymore in 2006.

Well AGGIEMIKE the reason the bigs we have are here is this---- when you don't have the resources in your budget you are going to have to take a chance on kids and hope they work hard enough, that by they're junior year they can contribute. The big schools take chances on kids also, remember Surge Zwikker at Carolina? Dean took a chance on him because he was over 7ft---- he didn't contribute untill his redshirt senior season when his field goal % was above 60.

What 7 footers are you talking about??? Nobody on that team approaches 7 feet....locally...Mike Hayes , Dejuan Morrison, Robert Johnson, T. Alston, ...Is it really important where the players come from if they can play . 6-8 KID (from Smith) AT APP ST TURNED NCAT DOWN...the women's team has no local players because the ones offered scholarships opted to go to Elon and Wake Forest.Eaves is attends games at NE Guilford, Smith, and Dudley. Is he just looking and not evaluating talent.

Fireemall, all things considered I think Eaves is doing an excellent job also. Not mant teams will come to Corbett this year and and get a W. As for Fobbs, I think asking for 6 wins might be a lttle to much. Hayes didn't get 6 his second year, Alvin Wyatt didn't win 6 this year Next year I just want to see us compete.
