Just watched the Morgan Buffalo game and they have 6-11 freshmen center that is going to be good....we stop him and we beat Buffalo, simply as that. Buffalo put them away at the end 82-73 but Morgan led by 10 early in the 2nd half and needs to learn how to close games....

I think we've got a good chance to beat them, especially if Forrest is able to play from his hurt finger on Wednesday night. I've heard he's fine but we'll see. |

They wont know what Hit them. I think that Lando is going to Torch them that night. Our playing the passing lanes and out Hands are becoming outstanding.

Buffalo put them away at the end 82-73 but Morgan led by 10 early in the 2nd half and needs to learn how to close games.... to be honest, morgan state has a pretty good team. i was impressed with their team quickness, morgan has several "slashers" on their team who can get to the cup. they "frustrated" me by how many times they crashed the boards (without being boxed out) and converted easy "put backs" on us. to me, it was great seeing our former meac cousins back in corbett again. we have alotta basketball history with them, even dating back to the days of marvin ("the human eraser") webster and "the pencil" (whose real name escapes me right now), not to mention the "ham sanmich" bozeman days. but i think we will continue to see improvement from our men's team. we're still not clicking on all cylinders yet, but we're "gradually" making progress and i think we'll get there by january... |
