After reviewing the 24/25 WBB roster, I noticed another addition, Daija Powell a 6'1 F Gr. Transfer.There could be some shake up in the starting with this group. Playing time will be at a premium up and down the lineup.Excited for the season to start.

Howard MBB is heading to Brazil later this month for a series of games. It looks like this is not a NCAA violation and will be a trend for many schools that can afford it. Also, the trip is after school has started and not during the summer. |

college basketball teams playing out of the country during the offseason is nothing new. i don't recall the last time one of our teams have, but i'm pretty certain a&t has done so in the past. i know when my daughter played at uncg, her team went to france to play some summer games...

If you saw the Fab 5 special on TV, they took a trip to Europe to play during the summer and discovered how famous they were...this was after they lost the title game to UNC.
BTW, it was this summer they also figured they were being exploited by Michigan...never were the same after that.
So playing overseas is common .....good chance to see what you have and player interactions/lineups.....

Let's go! i wholeheartedly agree. but i hope that the conference doesn't pick our ladies as the "preseason" #1 ranked team cuz it will give our ladies motivation to set the record straight like last season. however, ain't no way in hail do i expect the conference to "preseason" rank us as low as they did last season which i believe was "6th" if i'm not mistaken... |

This season has all the earmarks of a special season. There are atleast nine young ladies on this team that is 6' or better the most height we have ever had on a team.This will give coach a lot options to choose from.If our shooting improve we will be a very formidable team.

It is heartwarming to know our players are impacting the lives of Black teenagers in the Bahamas whose lives have been turned upside wown at an early age. Hopefully the players grow through having this experience.
