I wonder if that means all our December transfers are stuck here now.
I remember Coach JZ saying something on our show about how the window was different for those guys vs. normal signees.

Coach spoke (zoom)to the Queen City Alumni Chapter tonight. Spoke about lack of athleticism last year and his effort to correct that. He talked about the players he got from transfer portal. He got a warm reception.

Are you referring to players that transferred to A&T in December or players from A&T that entered the tranfer portal in December?

I remember Coach JZ saying something on our show about how the window was different for those guys vs. normal signees. 2039 is talking about basketball which is still pretty fluid. The big issue for football guys that went into the transfer portal back in December and still haven't caught on somewhere else by now are in no man's land. The national stats on the massive number of guys that go in versus those actually finding new homes is woefully one-sided against the transfer. Supply and demand. More applicants than there are jobs available. I'm a firm believer that its pure insanity to go into the portal if you don't have a very clear idea of where you might be going and why.

These players have few choices left. The coach will probably not take them back or has given their scholarship to someone else. They may continue to pursue their education here or elsewhere, drop out of school, or continue to hope that a school/coach will give them a scholarship or take them as a walk-on this late in the recruiting process.
