Perhaps Tomekia will vie for the UT Knoxville gig.

Well she ain't gotta worry about that gig, hate to see you go, but glad to see you leave... Wow, she was only at Stony Brook for 3 years!!! Ashley Langford was appointed the 10th head coach in Stony Brook women’s basketball history on April 28, 2021. Over her first two seasons on Long Island, Langford has guided the Seawolves to a stellar 41-19 record, including a 23-5 mark at Island Federal Arena. Coach Langford has posted the highest winning percentage (.683) of any head coach in program history and the team has averaged 20 wins per season under her watch.

Perhaps Tomekia will vie for the UT Knoxville gig. That’s a humongous jump. One of the least competitive conferences in the entire D1 to a Power 6 SEC squad in the same conference as LSU & Staley. If UT entertained it, it’d be a super small support staff spot I think (which still makes more than most low major D1 HC jobs)

Her leaving and likely taking some talent with her just opened up so much for next years top ranking fight in this conference. Makes our chances that much greater to me
