We are 1 - 15 from 3 and they are 7 -10 from 3....crazy stat line!

You can't win at this level late in the tournament without somebody that can consistently hit shots. And every year we keep getting reminded of our lack of consistent shooters. I realize those types of players are hard for us to recruit but until we do, we will continue to come up short at the end of the season.

Take it inside . You can get into a 3-point shoot out with Troy but you can take it to the paint and get them in foul trouble. We need to play to our strengths. Don't get it twisted the three is an option but we have to play to our strength and Chip Away cut down the mistakes and aggressively defend the three against Troy. Still a lot of basketball left.

You cant win basketball gams against quality competition shooting that bad. We really need 2 outside shooters!!! Our starting guards were 0 - 15 from behind the arc. |

All things considered: y’all were definitely right about 1) Troy puts points on the board at an extremely high rate and 2) they do not play defense well. Any other team we put 70+ on this year we beat. Maybe even best UGA. And 3) this team isn’t built for offensive shootouts (although that wasn’t ever a surprise for me)
