So. Where does this Win rank? I know that we beat UNC-C ( down there), yrs ago in some tournament., and Wake. Btw Earl Hilton played Chess with hosting this game. The crowd was kind of close to 60/40. The Team needed Aggie Nation. I can hear the G pep band’s song selection…a blend of music.. I don't know for sure but it didn't seem to be too many UNCG fans in the building. From my point of view it looked like 80/20, maybe. UNCG had 50 cheerleaders.

It felt like about 35 percent UNCG fans last night. They dominated the upper deck bleachers. You could really here them in the first quarter when the Spartans where up big.

Oh. I see the story. That website has been on point. I'll give props to UNCG for buying into the atmosphere. I remember when they wouldn't have sent 10 fans. Perhaps this will help build a true rivalry?

Perhaps this will help build a true rivalry? The black students there buy into it pretty well, anywhere after like 2017 or so. It used to be a lot of tension because they like to refer to themselves as an HBCU. That kinda sparked it some years ago. Any group outside of the black students over there doesn’t really contribute much to the “rivalry” though usually. It’d definitely be worse if they fielded an actual football team though in my opinion.

If Hilton was the final decision-maker in getting the WNIT games in Club Corbett, how many +1s does he get?
Or whoever was the final decision-maker, though I believe it was Earl?

It was well worth the drive for me! Even with the missed FTs and Clark launching 3s😂 I wanted to watch it, but can’t find the replay.

The closest attendance to ours in the 1st round was about 2500 to 3909.

The closest attendance to ours in the 1st round was about 2500 to 3909. gotta remember, we played a "crosstown rival" who also brought a significant number of fans. that gives us an "advantage" relative to attendance compared to other teams...

First of all, we did great in attendance 👏 👍.
My question to anyone is does WNIT look at ticket sales, potential viewership, both, or straight-up money to assign home game?
Let me ask, would UNCG have been able to draw a similar size crowd if they were the home team and us the visiting team? Was the large attendance (relative) due to Corbett or that this was somewhat of a rivalry with the campuses next to each other? Whatever the reason I loved it.
