I wonder how many tickets UNCG was given by the NCAA? This isn't an NCAA event. I'm not 100% sure, but I believe that the NCAA still owns the WNIT. However, they don't usually just give tickets to students (or any other group) for their championship events. I've heard of schools purchasing blocks of tickets for their students or making arrangements to reimburse the NCAA for tickets used by their students. Most of their events may have a student rate for the host or participating institutions.
I would surely love to know what the situation is with UNCG and their students concerning this event on our campus.

Does anyone know if this game will be televised/streamed at all. Has FloSports picked it up??

Looks like there are still reserved tickets left.

I STAND CORRECTED…the WNIT is also owned by Triple Crown Sports (who owns the WBIT and the women’s preseason tournament). I’ve never dealt with them professionally and have no idea what their ticketing constrictions are.

FYI, I called the ticket office at lunchtime and they sold me 3 reserved tickets in section NN. I know what the website is claiming, but I don't know how accurate it is with respect to reserved ticket availability. It is worth calling the ticket office to get it from the horse's mouth with respect to reserved ticket availability...

In case anyone is wondering: there is no actual theme promo for the game. So the Greek Night part 2, gold/blue out, etc are in the can I guess. And for myself personally, I typically have very little faith in athletics marketing but I genuinely thought they would do something for this. Had all week and it’s the biggest athletic event on campus this week. The women haven’t had a home game theme all year. It’s genuinely pathetic.

Looking at the map…it’s only 11 reserved seats left. I also reached out to some of the students, and I was told that they didn’t promote the game. They know because of the lady Aggies Instagram post.

That wasn’t through marketing, if you’re talking about one of the last home games when they promoted it on Instagram. That was the coaches specifically saying it themselves. Again, assuming you’re talking about Senior Night
