With the refs calling the game close with fouls, why aren't we taking everything inside, either on the drive or post up? There should be no outside shots unless it's a wide open jump shot by our best shooter. That should have been our entire 2nd half plan.

For the entire season we have made more FT than our opponents have attempted this is the 2nd time our opponent has made as many or more than we have taken (they made 18, we shot 15).
Last time that happened a couple weeks ago in Corbett against Monmouth (they made 28, we shot 15) ironically, the 2OT loss.

WE GONE SEE THEM AGAIN ON A NEUTRAL FLOOR AND BEAT THE BRAKES OF THEM. If we do, I sure hope we adjust the game plan to the way the game is being officiated. Also I hope we allow our best players to play the first half until they get 3 fouls instead of 2. We don't have enough fire power to be on the road against a good team and allow them to get that much separation and confidence. I know coach Robinson is a good coach, but I'm just not a fan of the philosophy that getting a 2nd foul means you sit the rest of the first half, especially in a game like this one. I would prefer to be in the game and take my chances in the 2nd half. I guess sometimes it works out and sometimes it doesn't. Nonetheless, I agree with you and think we'll get them next time. GO AGGIES!

SB is a very good BB team, just slightly better than A&T...I'm proud the way the ladies fought today.
Let's win the final two games and get ready for the tournament!

SB played a very good game. They are one of the better CAA teams we have played. They control the boards and Pittman is the best player I have seen in the CAA.For what ever reason, we had a poor shooting performance with the exception of Davis and Tucker. They are going to be a problem in the tournament.

Dorsey and Bracone lack of scoring hurt...they are probably tired. Played a lot of minutes due to 3 guards being out.

In our losses…the teams are shutting Dorsey down. 10pts vs Charleston 11pts vs Charleston 9pts vs Monmouth 9pts vs Stony Brook

The two teams are probably very close in how good they are, but Stony Brook probably got the edge today due to playing at home. They are undefeated at home and played only one game there where they did not win by double digits.

Too many missed baskets in close along with missed free throws did us in today. This is where I come out on it. I'm leaving foul trouble out since their top 2 scorers were also in foul trouble. Like VA's Finest said, I think it'll be a different story on a neutral court, if we meet again. And I expect the Aggie support will be better in DC.

GO AGGIES! I expect you'll find that the 2 foul 1st half sit comes out better than 3 foul sit. I would rather have my horses in the second half and take the chance on being able to stay within striking distance in the 1st half, which we were (8). We, actually, got their lead down to 5 with under 3 in the 3rd qtr but just couldn't get a stop or over the hump with our own made baskets.

We, actually, got their lead down to 5 with under 3 in the 3rd qtr but just couldn't get a stop or over the hump with our own made baskets. Right, being within 8 points at halftime with Dorsey checking out halfway through 1st qtr and Clark missing most of the 2nd qtr, was actually great job by ladies since SBU has all there horses the entire game. Taking nothing away from SBU, they are a legit midmajor D1 program, it was obvious to see in their play, but limited how the other team plays defensively doesn't help, they were 3 or 4 legit Ricky tack fouls on SBU entry passes that were just ridiculous. Not to mention the awful charge call on Tucker when she clearly went vertical on drive attempt but still got pinned with offensive foul. You could tell officials knee they blew that call because you had a immediate even worse call (makeup) on other end against SBU. But again I know you have to adjust to hiw a game is officiated each time out bit it appears down the stretch there have been a ton more whistles against the Aggies than our opponents. Its super tough to change your style of play after playin 80% of your schedule, which looks like what we'll be rquires to do. I mean geez today not only did SBU make more FT than we attempted, 1 player from SBU, Pittman, shot 15 FT herself, same as entire Lady Aggie team. I know this sounds like spur grapes but just would have liked to seen hiw game played out if being called like the rest of the season has been before last couple weeks. Again, I will say, we will win the one that counts.
