Not much to say. Glasper, Thanos, & JRob out due to injury with no set time table for return. Shell is trying to compensate by being the be all & end all with very little help. Murphy still can't figure out how to battle inside & get in position for offensive & defensive rebounds as well as making & finishing put-backs 7 inches from the rim. Coach Ross is & has coached the boys up as best he can. At this point, however, it's clear that this ain't about X's & O's. This is about the Jim's & Joe's. He's going to have to bring in 2-3 solid & legit post players, an athletic 3 in the mold of a Duncan Powell/Marcus Watson, & at least 2 swing men WHO CAN SHOOT! Y'all see 0's shooting form??? Oh my damn!!!
If Thanos, Glasper, & J-Rob are done for the season, so are we.
Hit the recruiting trail, Mr. Ross. Hard. But you ain't gotta go to Thessalonica or Serbia or Atlanta to get help. There are ballers in your backyard! Go get them!

Not a lot I can say. Even with all the injuries the guys made a game out of this one. Glasper, Felton, Brown, Thanos and Robinson all out. Will any of them return this season?
Kudos to Coach Ross for not using injuries as an excuse.

In this current age of college athletics, we need to search far and wide for the best ballers around. Especially if we alumni aren’t paying NIL money. And personally, as someone that traveled cross country to attend college, give no F’s about where a kid came from. I only care about if they are good enough to win. But this could and should be another thread. So, sorry for derailing. |
