My lovely wife and I are watching on FloSports and are exceptionally frustrated. Our frustrations aren’t new:
#7 is still shooting too darn much and missing free throws. We are tired of hearing “Glasper shoots again…No good!” WHY WON’T ROSS PUT THE BREAKS ON THIS DUDE SHOOTING 30 times a game???
#15 does a good job of penetrating for what Stevie Wonder & Ray Charles can see will be an easy lay-up or floater and then INEXPLICABLY kicks it out for a 25-30 foot missed 3 point attempt by #7 or something weird by #0
#13 is getting punked inside. He’s 6’9 and can’t finish inside with 2 handed flushes. Instead, he’s getting it smacked against the glass.
Left Jab’s son can’t play. We’ve watched him miss putbacks and layups 2 inches from the rim.
J-Rob should change his name to Houdini, because in the first half, he’s “Now you see me” and in the second half, he’s “Now you don’t.”
Why is Thanos 6’9 hanging out 25 feet from the basket? Even the Elon announcers were low-key sneak-dissing him about him having ZERO presence inside as a scorer OR rebounder (both TRUE statements).
I missed the last game due to a stomach virus and my not wanting to breathe. I heard we won against Campbell. Not sure how we pulled it off, but it appears that our men’s team is back in their normal groove this evening.
I still maintain that Ross is going to have to have to make some tough decisions and have some tough conversations at season’s end. He MUST get some shooters and some inside muscle in there. This makes SEVERAL on this year’s roster expendable, including some who either start or are in the rotation. There are posters among us who are good analytic guys who remind us that there are 14,000 high school/juco/portal guys who will be out there at season’s end. You mean to tell me we can’t find 5-7 of them so we can have a puncher’s chance?
Look at the stats: Elon had double the total rebounds we did. We got what, 5-6 points from our POST PLAYERS? THAT IS UNACCEPTABLE!
Look at our rotation…Ross is playing 7-8 dudes, With J-Rob getting maybe a minute or 2 in the 2nd half, and the rest of the guys never coming out of their warmups. Those are the ones, along with maybe 2, possibly 3 who are getting some burn now, who would be deemed expendable so I could free up some $ to bring my own luggage. Gucci, Louis, or shucks, even Samsonite at this point.
We can do better.
And yes…They need to hit the weight room too. Is the Bryan Center only for the football team? My god, our boys are LITTLE!

Elon just got chicken grease hot from the 3 in the 2nd half.
14 3s = 42 points
4 3s for us = 12 points
